Hello Root Down… In hope everyone has had a great week training.

Tomorrow, we will celebrate my baby boy’s birthday. He’s turning 20. If you’ve been around Root Down at all, you’ve seen him doing his own thing or joining in on a class workout. Either way, I’m proud of his mentality, his efforts and his goals. He is a true inspiration to me in so many ways.

What better way to celebrate than a partner MetCon Friday. So, I’ve taken 2 of his favorite movements and created today’s workout…

Free Warm-up/Mobilize/Roll-out/Stretch

“Vinny is Twenny Partner MetCon”
For Time….

- 100 Thrusters (75/55)

- 100 Bar Facing Burpees

Partner 1 does AMRAP of thrusters. Partner 2 matches reps with BF Burpees. Then, partners will trade positions. This will continue until 100 reps have been completed by partners.

Score will be total time in partner MetCon. See you all tomorrow! Happy Birthday Vinny! DOWORK!
